Our story begins like most great love stories – with a man meeting a lady. An avid traveller from Australia met an international university student from South Korea and fell madly in love.
Once together, they uncovered that many of their friends searched for the same meaningful connection, which sparked their idea to bridge the gap between cultures and countries with niche dating.
With a minimal understanding of website creation and coding, they began their journey with the first Cupid Media site, AsianDating.com, launching in 2000. As the site took off with members from across the world seeking love, they continued to grow the Cupid Media family of sites to cover more countries and cultures.
Twenty years on, Cupid Media has grown from two founders and a single dating site into a leading niche dating company. Cupid Media now numbers 33 sites covering 200+ countries, 40 languages, 55 million members and thousands of happy couples.
